About BLK Girl Space

About

At BLK Girl Space, our free monthly group therapy sessions are created exclusively for Black women ages 18 and up to release, reconnect, and reclaim their well-being in a safe, culturally affirming space.

We recognize that mental health care often overlooks the unique experiences of Black women. That’s why our sessions are intentionally crafted to center your voice, your healing, and your wholeness. Each session is facilitated by a licensed or certified mental health professional who leads thoughtful conversations on topics that matter most ranging from anxiety and self-esteem to relationships, grief, identity, and more.

Whether you’re navigating life transitions or seeking a deeper connection with yourself and others, these sessions offer a space to:

  • Feel seen and heard without judgment

  • Gain tools to support emotional wellness

  • Engage in authentic sisterhood and connection

  • Explore personal growth and healing journeys

Each month, we explore a different theme with the goal of nurturing your mental and emotional wellness. Sessions are typically 90–120 minutes and take place virtually or in welcoming community spaces.

This is your invitation to slow down, speak up, and show up just as you are.
